Kent Tse, Assistant Director
Kent Tse is a third year coach with the Viper Sports NYC volleyball program. He started playing volleyball in 1992 for the Brooklyn Technical High School varsity team. From there his passion for the game has grown over the next 24 years. But it wasn't until a couple of years ago when he volunteered as an assistant coach at Edward R. Murrow High School that the coaching bug bit him. He then transitioned to the volleyball program at the Berkeley Carroll School where he is currently the head coach of the boys varsity and the assistant coach of girls varsity programs. In addition to coaching, he also works as a certified USAV volleyball referee in the GEVA region and at tournaments through out the northeastern United States. When he is not playing, coaching, or reffing, he works as field inspector for an engineering consulting firm in NYC.
Coach Kent is married to his incredibly supportive wife Flora. Together they have a 3 year old son named Clayton who excels at keeping them on their toes.
